Accessibility
TilePoint wants everyone to be able to browse, compare and order tile on tilepoint.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, and for everyone.
What we do
- Review the site regularly with automated tools and keyboard-only testing
- Write text descriptions (alt text) for product images
- Label forms, buttons and product options so assistive technology can read them
- Keep text readable with sufficient color contrast
- Keep the site usable when zoomed up to 200%
- Fix reported issues as quickly as we can
Where we are today
tilepoint.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: some parts do not yet fully meet the standard. Known issue we are working on:
- The coverage calculator on product pages is not yet fully labelled for screen readers
Third-party content
Parts of the site come from outside providers, such as checkout, payment options, sample ordering and embedded tools. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we do not fully control their content.
